Urban Active Fitness Celebrates Grand Opening In Buckhead

Atlanta just got healthier… in the blink of an eye. Urban Active Fitness’ Grand Opening for its’ new Buckhead location (in the Lenox Marketplace Plaza) was complete with red carpet, celebrities, vendors and tons of visitors on Saturday, June 25th. VIPs such as Jasmine Guy (actress, singer, dancer), Brandi D (formerly of R&B group Blaque), Angel McCoughtry (WNBA & Team USA Allstar) and more were on hand for the opening. The membership areas were standing room only most of the 12 hour day, as patrons poured in as fast as they left smiling – membership in hand.

Lexington, Kentucky based Urban Active Fitness is 40,000 square feet of state-of-the-art fitness space, equipment and lifestyle. Its multi-leveled structure allows for the implementation of myriad fitness concepts, each managed by certified fitness instructors. Additionally, the amenities offered are relatively unmatched by it’s competitors – Sprint Track, Indoor Turf Track and more. Comparatively, you can’t find more gym for your buck. If that weren’t enough reason to check them out, they were recently voted the #3 Healthiest Gyms by Health.com. So, if you’re interested in group-level training or prefer a more personal training experience, Urban Active Fitness has something for you.
